I never thought that I'd start a blog. Why? I just don't think that what I have to say is that important. I've always felt that there are only two kinds of blogs. The kind that you go & read because the author actually has a skill/talent that is interesting. Therefore, that blog becomes a learning source. The second kind, where the author gets on their own little soapbox or basically treat the blogging world as their own personal, yet incredibly public diary/journal.
Yet, here I am. I got really interested in getting one of these dealios started because of the movie Julie & Julia. Last year, as Nicholas & I sat there watching that movie, he turns to me & says, "you should do that while I'm away on deployment." I laughed! I mean, it's true...I can't cook to save my life & well I like to think that I'm funny. Or maybe I'm just really good at laughing at myself?
Anyhoo...another deployment is upon us & well I might as well get started right? Please be patient with me as I try to figure out what the hecksola I'm doing on this thing. What kind of blog will this be? I have NO idea but I'm sure it'll come to me eventually. :)
